Road roller operator — Lamar County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a road roller operator in Lamar County, Texas. The role involves: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines What we are looking for: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Six days a week, one day off.
