Immediate opening: fusing press operator (Alabama)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Franklin County, Alabama. You will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Full-time with occasional weekends.
