Fabricator-welder — Marshall County

Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Marshall County, Minnesota. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Day-to-day duties: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Part-time with flexible hours.
