Production machine operator — Augusta County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production machine operator in Augusta County, Virginia. The job is in a CNC machine shop. What we are looking for: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery On a typical shift you will top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter.
