Concrete pump mate • Grayson County, Texas

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Grayson County, Texas. You will be based on a road and bridge project. On a typical shift you will discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
