Great opportunity: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Fayette County, Ohio. Day-to-day duties: • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees What we are looking for: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
