Immediate opening: we are hiring a press machine operator in Ford County, Illinois. You will watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor. You should have: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Full-time with occasional weekends.
