Scaffold fitter — Davis County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Davis County, Iowa. You will be based on a bridge maintenance job. On a typical shift you will fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang 4+ years on the tools preferred.
