Tower crane operator — Chickasaw County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Chickasaw County, Iowa. You will work on a high-rise tower crane. On the job you will handle: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
