Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tile setter in Phillips County, Kansas. On the job you will handle: • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line Ideal candidate: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
