Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage The role involves: • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout 1+ years on the tools preferred.
