Panel welder wanted in McDowell County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in McDowell County, North Carolina. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
