Sample machinist — Esit Eket

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sample machinist in Esit Eket, Akwa Ibom State. On a typical shift you will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
