Now hiring: we are hiring a garment presser in Golden Valley County, Montana. The job is at a dry cleaner's. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Day to day you will press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
