Brickwork mason — Bronx County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Bronx County, New York. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day The role involves: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts 3+ years on the tools preferred.
