You should have: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Current Driver CPC qualification card On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
