Argon welding operator wanted in Dawson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Dawson County, Nebraska. Your main tasks: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Six days a week, one day off.
