Urgent requirement: argon welder (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Sedgwick County, Kansas. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances On the job you will handle: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
