Packaging worker — Halifax County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a packaging worker in Halifax County, Virginia. You will work at a busy packing line. Your main tasks: • Shrink-wrap trays and stretch-wrap finished pallets • Count units and confirm the correct quantity per carton • Record production counts on the shift sheet • Seal cartons with a tape gun or hot-melt glue • Strap and band pallets ready for loading Ideal candidate: • Able to follow health and safety procedures • Comfortable working at speed to meet line targets • Attention to detail for date codes and labelling Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
