EHS coordinator — Loudon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in Loudon County, Tennessee. On a typical shift you will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Rotating shifts.
