Groundskeeper — West Baton Rouge Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a groundskeeper in West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a plant nursery. The role involves: • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines What we are looking for: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
