Truck driver — Erie County

Now hiring: we are hiring a truck driver in Erie County, New York. You will work at a busy distribution depot. The role involves: • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels You should have: • Valid digital tachograph card • Confident with manual handling and load securing 6+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
