TIG welder — Laclede County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Laclede County, Missouri. On the job you will handle: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Full-time with occasional weekends.
