Fabricator-welder — Rice County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Rice County, Kansas. On the job you will handle: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Overtime paid at a premium rate.
