Vacancy available: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Henry County, Illinois. The job is in a toolroom. Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls On a typical shift you will monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
