Immediate opening: overlocker operator (Minnesota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Waseca County, Minnesota. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently The role involves: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges Part-time with flexible hours.
