Trainee butcher wanted in Mingo County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Mingo County, West Virginia. The job is at a wholesale meat market. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Your main tasks: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
