HSE officer — Johnson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a HSE officer in Johnson County, Iowa. The job is at a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites On a typical shift you will inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
