Shuttering fixer • Champaign County, Ohio

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Champaign County, Ohio. You will be based on a bridge and flyover project. You should have: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork The role involves fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
