Building site helper — Skagit County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a building site helper in Skagit County, Washington. You will work with a civil contractor. Day to day you will bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors. Ideal candidate: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
