Press operator — Prince George County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press operator in Prince George County, Virginia. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. Day to day you will carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
