Safety marshal — McMullen County

Your main tasks: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
