Quality control inspector wanted in Gateshead

Immediate opening: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Gateshead, England. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. You should have: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges Day to day you will verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
