Gas installation technician — Perry County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Perry County, Missouri. On the job you will handle: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
