Panel beater — Kalamazoo County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel beater in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. You will be based in a smash repair workshop. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement On a typical shift you will buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair.
