Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Marte, Borno State. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Day-to-day duties: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through Pay around ₦1,800 per hour, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
