Join our team: we are hiring a moulder in Lincoln County, Maine. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry The role involves: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Part-time with flexible hours.
