In-process quality controller — Flathead County

Now hiring: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Flathead County, Montana. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. You will carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
