Foundry operative — Obubra

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry operative in Obubra, Cross River State. The role involves: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around ₦265,000 per month, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
