Visual inspection operator — San Juan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in San Juan County, Washington. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. Day to day you will verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings. Requirements: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade 6+ years on the tools preferred.
