PVC window installer wanted in Schenectady County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Schenectady County, New York. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres On the job you will handle: • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
