Now hiring: we are hiring a pastry baker in Lafayette County, Wisconsin. On a typical shift you will keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; score the top of loaves before baking; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them. You should have: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
