Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Spokane County, Washington. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Day to day you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent.
