Gas pipe fitter — Halifax County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Halifax County, Virginia. You should have: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Able to read isometric and site drawings The role involves: • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
