Great opportunity: die-casting operator (Ohio)

Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Ross County, Ohio. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. On a typical shift you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Part-time with flexible hours.
