Rough terrain crane operator — Lancaster County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Lancaster County, Virginia. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Your main tasks: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Full-time, day shift.
