Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. On the job you will handle: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient What we are looking for: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat 5+ years on the tools preferred.
