Conventional mill operator — Gaya

Great opportunity: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Gaya, Kano State. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
