Single needle operator — Covington County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a single needle operator in Covington County, Alabama. You will work on an export house sewing floor. Your main tasks: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens 4+ years on the tools preferred.
