Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Somervell County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
